Castleton Wisteria salad plate and bread plate

Description

Castleton China Wisteria pattern salad plate and bread & butter plate, both sold together as a lot.   The salad plate measures about 8 1/4" across; the bread & butter plate is about 6" across.  There are no chips or cracks, but each plate has a bit of light scratching.  The backstamps have been removed, something Castleton did when items were sold through their employee store, or when an item was a "second".  I can't see any reason why these would have been considered seconds, so I'm thinking that they were sold through the store.
