She is priceless!! This doll came from a large farm house that sits on 35 acres of land in  Connecticut. It was taken from the last living elderly couple from the home they sold the doll and many things from the house from there estate sale. As they were planning to move out of state into a smaller condo. The doll was sitting dining chair beside the dining table with tons of old knick knacks of both large and small. A lady Sheila that came to check out the sale noticed the doll in the dining chair and asked if she was for sale and the lady said she was and told of the strange things that went on with it and the sadness it caused the family. She said they kept it in a large walk in closet it belonged to what would have been a great Aunt Mariel. Mariel was only 11 years old when she died. She was very beautiful with long Auburn hair and green eyes. She had a bad case of pneumonia she had been in bed for weeks and then stopped eating altogether. She was confined to her room kept away from all her brothers in fear that they too would catch the pneumonia. She then sadly died Meriel died with her beloved doll layng right next to her. After her death the doll had become a reminder of the lost child and caused great sadness in the home, the doll was then kept in the closet in the girls old room from that time on. Nelly told Sheila she had seen the spirit of Merial ever since she was a little girl her self . The spirit of the girl always appeared over and over again though out the years walking the hall of her bedroom door and in the closet where her doll was. Even after death the girl never lost her love for her doll lily.
*As for my personal experiences  with this doll it can cause strange feelings I believe from all the sadness of the family it seems like the energy of that home is still also with the doll. It more like your feeling emotions that are not yours there someone else's...the doll has been found out of noticable place by at least a two feet difference.
Temperature changes can take place in 10 degrees differences in only a few minutes its bazaar..
Doll has been off the farm since November and Nelly has moved to another state.
