This auction is for a 1950's Coca Cola ice chest cooler, made by Progress Refrigerator Co., Louisville, Kentucky. This cooler is in very good original condition throughout. Has original tray. Drain plug cap has been replaced with a chrome cap. inside cooler on bottom has some sort of built up residue in two corners. Don't know what it is. Overall condition is very good. Cooler is solid. Has a few light dents and paint wear in some areas, as seen in photos. Tray fits tight and snug. Lid fits snug. No warps or damage on lid. Embossed in metal with white letters "Drink Coca Cola in Bottles", which is rare. Has bottle opener on both sides. Handles and lid-lock are in good working condition. Measures approx. 18" wide x 16" tall x 13.75" deep. Please view all photos as they are part of the description.
