It’s got scratches, it’s got dents… Do you know what? scratch all that, it’s got character man!
This cooler has character. Who needs a restored nicely painted cooler. This one has battle scars. You can tell it’s been used. You can tell it’s not a reproduction because it has all the signs of years of use and abuse.
Do you see that rotating bar? It’s supposed to lock onto the handle on top, but the handle has been pushed down and it doesn’t lock on it anymore. You know what I call that? Character
You want your vintage items to have character but you don’t want them to have too much character. This one doesn’t have any gaping holes in it or anything so it doesn’t have too much character.
The water spout appears to be incomplete or broken, Now that’s character.
This old cooler not only has character, it also has a bottle opener.
